Mary

Why is it said that Mary is the Immaculate Conception?

The Virgin Mary appeared in Lourdes, to Bernadette Soubirou, in 1858. When she asked her name, the Virgin replied: “I am the Immaculate Conception“. This Truth is thus a revelation from Heaven Itself. It was and remains sustained with miracles.

Many people misunderstand the real significance of this fact. They believe that Immaculate Conception means that Mary gave birth to Jesus while being a virgin, having not known a man sexually: “She was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 1,18). And, Mary would have had no stain even in having marital relationships with Joseph, her lawful husband. Moreover, it is indeed about the conception of Jesus in Mary’s womb, not about the person of Mary.

Now, Mary is an Immaculate Conception in her very person, from the moment of her conception in Anna’s womb, her mother. She is immaculate, ie without having been tainted by the wound or stain of Adam and Eve, a stain inherited by all men.

Adam and Eve were each an “immaculate conception” before having been seduced by the enemy of Humanity. Yet they fell, inspired by Satan (Genesis 3). Through them, the stain is passed down as an inheritance to all mankind. God promised that the woman will avenge herself and crush the serpent’s head (Genesis 3,15).

It is through Mary, the Mother of the Messiah, the Word of God, that God will operate this vengeance. The Divine Word had to incarnate Himself to save the people who believed in Him. He could not incarnate in a womb perturbed by the consequences of original sin. The female receptacle of the Word of God had to be spared solely for the Glory of God. This receptacle was Mary. She was not Immaculate for her own glory, but in function of the Divine Plan.

And so, Mary alone is the Immaculate Conception by God’s intervention to fulfill the Plan of the Holy Father. She is Immaculate because the Messiah could not be conceived in a “troubled room”. So this is why the Virgin was preserved from this stain, not for herself, but in function of the Divine Plan. She never ceased to respect this Plan, to be in perfect harmony with the Father’s Will, without ever defying God like the first parents of mankind did. She was and always remains Immaculate.

The Qur’an bears witness very explicitly on the Immaculate Conception of Mary as well as that of Jesus. In the following verse, Imran’s wife, ie Mary’s mother (Mary’s parents are the Family of Imran) says:

“‘My Lord, I pledge to You what is in my womb. It shall be dedicated to Your service. Accept this from me for it is You – You who are All-Hearing, All-Knowing.’ When she gave birth to a female, she said: ‘My Lord, I have given birth and it is a female’ – and God knew best what she had given birth to – ‘and a male is not like a female. I have called her Mary. I seek refuge in You for her and her progeny (Jesus) from Satan, ever deserving to be stoned’.” (Qur’an III; The Family of Imran,35-36)

God heard the prayer of Mary’s mother and granted her wish: Mary and Jesus alone, were protected from the devil, as Mohammed reports in his “Noble Discussions” (see the Qur’anic interpretation of “Jalalein” concerning the above verses): “No man is born without the devil reaching him from birth, and screams because of this satanic attack (the stain of original sin), with the exception of Mary and her Son“.
(See the texts “A Look of Faith at the Qur’an” and “The Brothers of Jesus”).

Therefore, after Adam and Eve, Mary alone -and Jesus Christ of course- is of Immaculate Conception.

So did Mary remain Virgin?

What do you think of Jesus’ brothers: James, Jude, Joset, Simon mentioned in the Gospels (Mark 6,3)? So did Mary remain virgin?

Question on the Wedding of Cana

During the wedding of Cana (John 2,1-12), Jesus answered Mary: “What is there between you and me, woman?” What do you think of this cold response?

This translation is made by certain fanatics who are against Mary. The real translation from Greek is: “What does (this) matter to you and me, woman?”, an oriental expression still used vigorously today in the East and which means: “What can this do for you and me?” ie that this does not concern us, it is not our affair, it is not my marriage, it is not for us to look after what is missing, “woman”. Until today, a husband says this expression “woman” to his wife in a teasing or affectionate or angry tone. How do you see Jesus saying this to Mary? To the One who gave birth to him? To Whom He gave as Mother to John when He was on the cross: “Woman, this is your son” (John 19,26).

Would He speak disrespectfully as some claim? How would Jesus address Himself to the one who is “full of grace”? (Luke 1,27) To THE Woman, par excellence, who was his Mother? Let us not forget that Jesus, the model son, was “subject” to his parents as Luke emphasized in his Gospel (Luke 2,51). It is up to each one of us to respond in conscience according to whether this conscience is pure or contaminated by hatred and fanaticism or jealousy. Mary is this Woman, prophetically announced, whose lineage crushes the serpent’s head in Genesis 3,15. She is the glorious Woman of the Apocalypse crowned with the sun (Revelation 12), giving birth to a new spiritual generation, victorious over the devil.

Indeed, the Greek text says: “TI (what) emy (for me) ké (and) si (you), yinai (woman)?” The Gospels were written in Greek (except Matthew, in Aramaic). And those who wrongly translate in ill intention commit an unforgivable crime.

The evidence of Jesus’ respect for his Mother is that He generously granted her request and turned water into wine, thus upsetting the divine plan by fulfilling this miracle despite the fact that “his hour had not yet come”. She tenderly dared to put him before a fait accompli, saying to the servants: “Do whatever He tells you”. (John 2,4-5)

The Almighty Intercession of Mary?

How do we get to know Mary and her almighty intercession?

To know Mary’s grandeur, we must experience it through confident and affectionate prayer.

  1. The Gospels: Luke 1,26-38: “… the angel said to her, ‘… full of grace etc…’”
Am I, are you full of grace? Me, l am not.
Luke 1,39-56: “… all generations will call me blessed…”
John 2,1-12: Through her intercession, She got Jesus to change the divine plan. After answering her: “My time has not yet come”, Jesus conceded and turned the water into wine (sign of the Eucharist).
  2. The Qur’an: several verses: Qur’an III,35-36 / Qur’an III,42 / Qur’an IV,155 and the Sura of Mary, Qur’an XIX.
  3. Centuries-old tradition. Ask priests and read books on it. It is difficult to explain everything.
  4. Text on the website: “The Brothers of Jesus”. Important
  5. Mary’s apparitions: in Lourdes She said: “I am the Immaculate Conception”. Each person is free to believe it or not. Me, I am not immaculate. Are you?
Her apparitions in La Salette and Fatima. (See our text: “Explanation of Mary’s Message at La Salette”)
  6. The surest source and most revealing of hearts, is that of the heart and the intuition of each person. It is here in particular, that the first gush of each person’s heart is revealing.

The Protestants deny Mary’s intercession because “there is only one mediator between God and mankind… Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2,5).
All intercession and mediation pass through Jesus and in Him. Otherwise, we should not be praying for one another. Now, St Paul also asks us to intercede for all believers and for himself (Ephesians 6,18-19).
Conclusion: To each his intuition; follow yours at your own risk and peril, or for your greatest joy, like me.
See our texts: “The Intercession of the Saints in the Bible” / Chapter III in the text “A Look of faith at the Qur’an”.

Medjugorje

You say you do not believe in the Apparitions of Medjugorje. Yet we know people who have been to Medjugorje and who have changed their lives. What do you think?

We refer the reader to FAQ – The independent believers; ‘How to act? What does Pierre2 mean?’, where the Medjugorje apparitions are discussed.

All “seers” in the world will be judged by their attitude vis-à-vis the “small open Book” of Revelation (Revelation 10,2), with its Key Message revealed to Pierre2: “The Beast is Israel”.

This Message reveals the hearts. It is the measure “to measure God’s Temple” (Revelation 11,1), ie to recognize true believers.

Our Mother does not contradict Herself.

The banalities reported by the Medjugorje “messages” are opposite to the serious and current messages given by our Mother in La Salette, Fatima and Marienfried concerning the times we live in. God does not send Mary to speak to the world to recount such nonsense.

The Messages of La Salette, Fatima and Marienfried were a preparation for the Revelation of the Mystery of the Apocalypse. These three Messages from our Mother and St John’s Apocalypse have one and the same Spirit.

In La Salette, the Holy Virgin had denounced the treason of the clergy, qualifying them as “cesspools of impurity”, and reveals that “Rome (the Vatican) will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist”.

On the contrary, the Medjugorje messages speak of submission to the church and to the Pope, who nevertheless betrayed the Message of Jesus by associating themselves with the Antichrist and by refusing to denounce it.

Here are some extracts from the Medjugorje messages, compared to the Messages of La Salette and Fatima.

That each person judges for himself according to the luminous and liberating words of Jesus:

“Why not judge for yourselves what is right?” (Luke 12,57)

And Sister Lucy of Fatima who was in contact with the Virgin Mary, who had fathomed the scale of the Church’s treason says (Letter of 22 May 1958 to reverend Father Agostino Fuentes):

“However, Father, we must tell people not to expect from the Pope a call to penance, to prayer, neither from the part of bishops, nor from the priests, nor from the superiors in general. It is time that each person, by their own initiative, accomplishes holy deeds and reforms their life according to the Madonna’s request!”

Those who have been to Medjugorje and have changed their lives have been touched by a grace from the Virgin Mary, because they went there with love and devotion. The place has nothing to do with it. Pilgrimages and graces are internal. They are not external, linked to a specific place (see John 4,21-24).

Examples of messages

We invite you to compare the spirit of the following messages:

Medjugorje, message of 25 June 2010: “Dear children with joy, I invite you to live my messages joyfully; only this way, little children, you could be close to my Son. And me, I want to lead you all to Him only, and in Him you will find the real peace and the joy of your hearts. I bless you all and I love you with a measureless love. Thank you for answering my call.”

La Salette: “God will strike in an unprecedented way. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth! God will exhaust His wrath upon them, and no one will be able to escape so many afflictions together. At the first blow of his thundering sword, the mountains and all Nature will tremble in terror, for the chaos and crimes of men have pierced the vault of Heaven.”

Fatima: “The third time, she told me that having exhausted other means, despised by men, she gives us, while trembling, the last means of salvation: which is the Blessed Virgin in person signs of tears and messages from various seers throughout the world. The Madonna says that if we do not listen and still offend, we will no longer be forgiven.”

Medjugorje, message of 2 September 2011: “Dear children with all my heart and soul filled with faith and love for the Heavenly Father, I have given you my Son, and I give Him to you again. To you, people from all over the world, my Son taught to know the only true God and His love. He has led you to the way of truth, and He has made you brothers and sisters. That is the reason why, my children, do not wander, do not close your hearts before this truth, this hope and this love. Everything surrounding you is ephemeral, and everything crumbles, God’s Glory only remains. For this reason, renounce everything that keeps you away from the Lord. Do adore Him, Him only, as He is the only true God. I am with you and I will be at your side. I particularly pray for the shepherds, so that they would be worthy representatives of my Son, and they would lead you with love along the way to truth. I thank you.”

Medjugorje, message of 2 October 2011: : “Dear children! Today again, my maternal heart invites you to prayers, to a personal relationship with God the Father, for the joy of the prayer in Him. God the Father is not far from you and He is not unknown to you. He was shown to you by my Son, and He has given you life, that is my Son. This is the reason why, my children, do not surrender to the temptations separating you from God the Father. Do pray! Do not try to create families and societies without Him. Pray! Pray so that your hearts overflow with goodness; the latter comes only from my Son, Who is true goodness. The hearts only filled with goodness would understand and welcome God the Father. I will keep on guiding you. In a particular way, I pray that you not judge your shepherds. My children, did you not forget that it was God the Father who called them?! Pray! I thank you.”

La Salette: “The priests, ministers of my Son, the priests, by their wicked lives, by their irreverence and their impiety in the celebration of the holy mysteries, by their love of money, their love of honors and pleasures, the priests have become cesspools of impurity. Yes, the priests are asking vengeance, and vengeance is hanging over their heads. Woe to priests and those dedicated to God who by their unfaithfulness and their wicked lives are crucifying my Son again! The sins of those dedicated to God cry out towards Heaven and call for vengeance, and now vengeance is at their door, for there is no one left to beg mercy and forgiveness for the people. There are no more generous souls, there is no one left worthy of offering a stainless sacrifice for the sake of the world […] The chiefs, the leaders of the people of God have neglected prayer and penance, and the Devil has bedimmed their intelligence (They’re not capable of identifying the Antichrist). They have become wandering stars which the old devil will drag along with his tail to make them perish (Revelation 12,4) […] Woe to the Princes of the Church who think only of piling riches upon riches to protect their authority and dominate with pride.”

Fatima: “Order no longer rules anywhere. Even at the highest positions, it is Satan who governs and decides the course of events. He will even know how to penetrate to reach the pinnacle of the Church.”
